What if instead of WASI we just create POSIX-WASM: Two subsets of POSIX, one that can be supported by a web browser and one that can be supported by a serverless cloud environment.

This is hilarious. It appears that Twitter is DDOSing itself.

The Twitter home feed's been down for most of this morning. Even though nothing loads, the Twitter website never stops trying and trying.

In the first video, notice the error message that I'm being rate limited. Then notice the jiggling scrollbar on the right.

The second video shows why it's jiggling. Twitter is firing off about 10 requests a second to itself to try and fetch content that never arrives because Elon's latest genius innovation is to block people from being able to read Twitter without logging in.

This likely created some hellish conditions that the engineers never envisioned and so we get this comedy of errors resulting in the most epic of self-owns, the self-DDOS.

Unbelievable. It's amateur hour.

The Mojo programming language is looking really impressive and might even be the language to replace Nim for me.

✔️ backwards compat with Python
✔️ var/let
✔️ compiled
✔️ strong type checking
✔️ compile-time metaprogramming

Mojo 🔥: Powerful CPU+GPU Programming

Mojo is a programming language that unifies high-level AI development with low-level systems programming. Write once, deploy everywhere - from CPUs to GPUs - without vendor lock-in.

You plug your phone in (or even connect wirelessly now) and your car hands over the screen (or some portion of it) to your phone.

Your phone is sending an audio and video feed to that screen, and the car will send touch inputs (and some other data) back to the phone.

This has been a thing for a long while now, and a really neat thing is that my folk's 2017 Bolt has infotainment from 2023 when I plug my phone into it.

It's a fantastic idea, and dropping it is bonkers and/or nefarious.

We just launched a URL Scanner 100% using Workers and Cloudflare APIs. Yet another example of how versatile and powerful our stack is today and how we increasingly build our own services on top of it. Take a look https://radar.cloudflare.com/scan
