As you are saying, it can financially work to some degree. And yes, home ownership can be a challenge during these crazy market bubbles... Depending on how you're doing at home, there are a few immigration countries. I have moved from Europe to NZ a couple of decades ago. Housing and food are expensive here, though.

@VeryBadLlama - must be an American thing. Here in Aotearoa New Zealand there aren't any guns around school buses. Neither have I ever seen any in any of the European countries where I have been so far.
