Also them: make you see the same opening AI announcement screens across all your devices. Non-skippable slides telling you that about all those new functions you never asked for.

Risking the fanboys brigade's ire.
I followed Ben Thompson's advice on how to handle the issue I had with listening to rants against Europe and the Europeans, against non-American sports, and the what felt like endless exchanges that transformed Dithering from my favourite podcast into an American sports podcast interspersed with gushings about Meta and ChatGPT.
So I "grew up" and canceled my subscription. Such a pity.

Why I doubt @microsoft ‘s ability to produce a good platform experience and will replace Copilot with another platform: On the Microsoft 365 Subscription Management Page, at very the top, the link titled ‘Manage Sharing’ gives only a link to share the subscription. Fruther down the page the section called ‘Saharig is the one that lets you *manage* the subscription sharing group.

Strange thing happened - I forgot my #iPhone at home and realised only halfway through my commute. I find less and less use for it. No, it's not an AI thing although Siri being forced on me in situations where it doesn't work at all does reinforce the feeling - corporate complacency.

Still got my iPad mini 7 with me. Love the thing. Two devices and both with a stylus. Not a coincidence. Yes, Samsung, looking at you. Don't you dare doing to the S26 Ultra what I fear you might!

Highlights and notes, with Pencil support, as an overlay atop the original page. Personal, not public, but synced via iCloud. I’d use this every day.
