@viticci Can’t wait to dig into this review. Just downloaded Ivory from the App Store (was on TestFlight too) and it’ll be worth every penny. I think the yearly subscription pricing is very fair as well.

@StrangerSights Couldn’t agree more, the set pieces are amazing. You can really tell that a lot of love and care went into those.

Also please do give the game a try. Some moments hit so hard because It feels like it’s happening to you. All the good and the bad stuff.

Check out that scene with Sarah, where the voice actors react for an example (around 3 minutes into it): https://youtu.be/-o2e6RJnwr4

Just devastating.

🎬 Triangle of Sadness (2022)

This film was such a good time from start to finish. It went places that were just fascinating. It was hilarious and absurd in equal measure.

The characters all grew on me over the course of its lengthy runtime and by the third act I was truly invested.

Most importantly it took me on a ride I won’t forget anytime soon. Go in knowing as little as possible is my advice.

Now that "Prince Harry” is doing normal people stuff like writing a book, it strikes me as really odd and awkward the people in this family don’t have a last name. Like, what does his passport say? “Prince Harry”? When he orders shit online, does “Prince Harry” all go in the first name field and the last name is blank? Or does he just put “Harry” in there and choose “Prince” from the pop-up menu for title, under “Mr, Miss, Dr” etc?
@ivory If there’s any way to buy your team a coffee or something in the meantime while you’re working through all this, please let us know! 😊
@ivory Ivory has been an absolute joy to use even in this early stage. I’ll happily pay when it’s ready for public launch.
To me, there’s only one thing I’m so (im)patiently waiting for: being able to edit posts, which I see you have on the road map!

Listening to #PrinceHarry read his memoir Spare feels like the right format to tell his story. Not a sit-down with Oprah.

It already seems way more honest and vulnerable from what little I’ve heard so far.

I honestly don’t feel one way or the other about the British monarchy, but I am interested in the human aspect of what Harry and Meghan have gone through. Becoming a parent also changes you in profound ways.
Guess I have a thing for underdogs, which they have become to put it mildly.

@ritual Finally playing through some of those games I purchased on sale probably would definitely be an added bonus.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that there’s now a device that can handle something like Red Dead Redemption II on the go.

Having two kids it also seems like the way to go.

@ritual Just checked this level out on YouTube for a few minutes and it does indeed look fantastic and very atmospheric. My favorite kind of levels.

It somehow reminded me (though not as scary) of something like Shalebridge Cradle in Thief: Deadly Shadows. If I could just get entire games full of that kind of immersion I’d be happy.

Also: this makes me want a Steam Deck even more. Handheld consoles are perfect for those kind of experiences.

Currently listening to what always ends up being my favorite podcast episode each year.

Man, I love these people even though I don’t know them. Their shared love of film is always contagious.
