Early days, but think I have a very strong preference for pixelfed over mastodon for image-based feeds. I don't think it's possible to migrate followers from a mastodon account to a pixelfed one, so I may just have to live with the lack of followers on this account, but that's okay. Accruing followers was never the point of my generative art account anyway.
In any event, this is a first-pass attempt at incorporating foreground structure (currently just a circle) into the system I've been playing with. It's not quite there, but I think there's potential in the approach.

Good morning lovely people. Still feeling very gloomy about the state of social media, but at least there is art to be made
First pass at creating a version of this system that doesn't rely on a natural source of spatial noise as a seed pattern. It's not quite there yet, I feel. It lacks the depth of some of the other pieces. But it's getting closer
