"Dying to Get By" by The Division Men (Tranquilo Trail)
Caroline and I would love to welcome multi-instrumentalist Rick G Nelson to the next Division Men album on Motor. You might have recently caught him touring the world in support of the latest Afghan Whigs album "How Do You Burn." Rick is a pretty busy guy. When he's not on tour, he's busy at Marigny Studios in New Orleans. He's written and performed with The Afghan Whigs, The Twilight Singers, St Vincent, The Polyphonic Spree and The Gutter Twins to name a few.
The band is currently recording a new album with Rafael Gayol (Leonard Cohen), Jay Reynolds (Asleep at the Wheel), Fredo Ortiz (Beastie Boys, Los Lobos), Leah Shapiro (BRMC), Dana Colley (Vapors of Morphine, Morphine), Beto Martinez (Groupo Fantasma), Asya Sorshneva (CocoRosie), Eric Gorfain (Section Quartet), Josh Marcus, Jacob Valenzuela (Calexico), Barb Hunter (Afghan Whigs, Pigface), Peter Hayes (BRMC) and Alain Johannes (Eleven, Them Crooked Vultures, Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey).
