@jerry yes, it is messed up. If you want to dig deeper there is a documentary about Jodi Hildebrandt and more plenty of information about Chad Daybell /Lori Vallow. They all ran in the same circles and believed basically the same things. It's all very disturbing.

@briankrebs yup. I've actually already been getting tariff bills on PCBs and other electronic components ordered from China. Super frustrating because there isn't anywhere else to reasonably order much of this stuff.

@mav @luckytran also, their comment about how people just think they are uneducated and stupid. I'm sorry but you kind of are if you're letting your kid suffer and die from an infection that is easily treated with antibiotics.

@mav @luckytran I'd rather know. I started watching that documentary. I don't think they see their own hypocrisy when they state they should have freedom to make choices about their own bodies. Also, looks like they think taking an aspirin is sorcery or witchcraft but drinking Pepsi isn't?? Sodas originally started out as tonics for health. Anyway, it's always kids and vulnerable people who suffer in these situations.

@mav @luckytran I had no idea this problem existed. I've always known there were people who refused to get life saving medical treatment for their kids because of religion but I thought it was illegal. I didn't know it was so state dependent. I think that companion animals have better protections in some states than this. So much for caring about children. Don't even know what to say.
