I've been in and out of information security professionally, but somehow always have related projects. Mainly working with zeek and network level detection at the moment. SDR, cycling, and climbing enthusiast.
I boost a lot. Topics range far and wide from security and "the cybers" and may include politics, food, humor, science, law, nature, art, and other sundry unsavories. I occasionally post my own projects and thoughts.

If this doesn't turn into a US CSB video in the next couple of years, I'm pretty sure expertise is dead in the US.
If you're not familiar with the US CSB, they have no regulatory power, a meager budget, and yet manage to tell industrial companies how badly they F'd up and how much they (Or anyone in the same industry not following their guidance) are going to lose if they don't correct course.
Their videos are great if you're into process management, safety, security, etc.

In West Virginia, two workers were killed and more than 30 people injured on Wednesday after hydrogen sulfide gas leaked at a metal refining plant outside Charleston. First responders who rushed to the scene found employees dragging co-workers out of the plant; seven ambulance workers were among those injured. The industrial incident follows five previous workplace safety citations against plant operator Ames Goldsmith Corporation since 2018.
Have you been asked by a medical provider recently for consent to have an "AI" scribe record your visit? Us, too. And we have **thoughts**

⏱️ The internet blackout in #Iran has now surpassed the 1200 hour mark, continuing in its eighth week as of day 51.
As peace negotiations appear to flounder, one of the most important factors for Iranians, the restoration of international connectivity, is still overlooked.
Well.
That's not at all an absolutely horrifying idea.
Nope.
