Hello, I'm just a guy who studies comp sci :3

I'm anti-capitalist, doing my best in a capitalist system.

I enjoy debate, just hit me up if you have any questions.

Admin of this instance.
@coolboymew just because the louder people against hate speech label everything as hate speech, doesn't mean hate speech isn't a real thing. Both sides annoy me.
@coolboymew why would you listen to a guy who says "there's no such thing as hate speech, it's free speech, fucking get over it"?

But I agree anyways, I don't even like Mozilla. I like the dude in that video even less though.
@dielan same, I have difficulty understanding why you wouldn't.
@kaniini @thegibson this 2017 article seems to suggest it's alright, and it had rocky points in the past, but it's vastly improved. Just gotta follow best practices.

I will consider a custom solution though because I could probably build something I like more anyways.

@kaniini @thegibson just curious as I am (or was?) planning on setting up a WordPress site. What's wrong with WordPress?
@druid @prydt @Majkatsu James Randy is probably still giving a million dollars to anyone who can prove paranormal abilities. They should hit him up lol.

I guess that means I won't be able to visit my friends in the US for the foreseeable future. That's incredibly sad, but at some point you just got to take a stance and make a decision. Several lines have been crossed, and for me personally that's just one too many.

Dear American friends: only you can fix this horrible mess. Go and vote.

@amic if you're talking about Smash, it was definitely political as they were asking for rights. For A Hat in Time I'd say it's political because it's a big medium and they're clearly trying to express an opinion, with hopes for change. No problem with them doing that, but in terms of what'd be "political content", flags are used to represent ideas/groups, and generally considered political.
@amic both are political, it's a political issue, and that's why it leads to such discussion.
@amic it is a political statement though. When you're pushing a social issue or for social change, invetiably encouraging acceptance on a governmental level, it's a political change. I have no problem with the Hat in Time devs doing do though, they have every right to, and companies do it all the time with more convenient/conventional issues.
