Just noticed another bug. I calculate the time based on UTC. I got rid of the "-" sign, but on "0" hour UTC it say "25" hour present time.
To do: I don't know how often it pings the ntp time server to update the time.

The chaos on the backside.

I added a LM317 voltage regulator module 5.0V out, so I am not limited to the input voltage. 12V in atm

next to do:
Add a keyboard to set ALARM time.

I invent something that has flaws, but it works.

Maybe a small step for mankind, but a big step for me.

It works - not! I filnal invent something that works not perfectly. I can not jump forward to ask my future self for the correct code.

@dh4mbm This is really cool! I like having a panel for UTC
@dh4mbm that's so cool!

Thanks jeje !

It needs a bit tinkering to display the correct .de time format. I got rid of the minus sign, but it says 24:16 instead.
I hope to get an alarm clock some day.

Back to the Future Clock - WIFI EDITION

Back to the Future Clock - WIFI EDITION: I finally found how to connect this clock to internet to synchronize the time! Several mounth (years?) ago I designed this clock with a RTC module to synchronize the time. I had many (bad) feedback regarding this module, so I had to change it. The …

@dh4mbm so cool, thank you for linking that

@bradley

The displays I received from China were not good soldered. I recommend to order one spare for each color.
