I just did some cleanups of the sid-pgdg suite on apt.postgresql.org, removing some very old extension packages for postgresql-8.x. These were files from the very beginning of the archive in 2011. It's been a while... 🐘 #postgresql #debian
17021 #hamradio QSO with 239 countries in 2025. I'm happy to see more activity from Africa, but there are still plenty of white spots. (11139 CW, 5401 data, 481 SSB)

My #cqww #hamradio weekend: 1127 CW contacts to 115 countries, claimed score 870,928 in SO-LP (A).

N6MJ on the Canary Islands set a new world record with 12708 contacts in SO-HP, followed by KL9A on Madeira with 11343 contacts. It was fun to watch the online scoreboard.

I already knew that Morse Runner was open sourced some years ago, but I only now discovered this Linux (and Mac) port: https://github.com/fritzsche/MorseRunner

Some poking around with fpc and lazarus later it's now available in #Debian!

Before, it was living in a messy box. 😅
I finally put my #QO100 base station into a proper case. #hamradio

I admit that I was lagging 5+ years behind on sending #hamradio QSL cards, mostly because the task "if I am sending a card to someone anyway, let's include all the other QSOs with them on the same card" sounded hard to express in SQL. (It is not.)

The #hamchallenge was a good excuse to finally fix that problem. Now I have both paper and electronic QSL cards, and the first bunch of 1000 cards is on the way to the press. HC01S!
