@siracusa Thanks, I suspect the same. That I can get the big Intel to M4 Pro jump now with the Mini versus waiting another half year (according to rumors) for the M4 Max Studio is worth something as well.

@sayrer Great, thanks. I don't use the Adobe apps, rather Affinity and only occasionally. Want to get into iOS development but that is not enough of a priority to justify a more expensive processor. Resale is not really a viable option here in South Africa – no Apple to trade it in (only resellers who offer much less) and basically no second-hand market. So if I buy it I must live with it for about 5 years.

@atpfm As a web developer who runs a few docker containers while typing in VScode I have difficulty choosing between the M4 Pro and Max. Coming from my current Intel i9 16" MBP anything would be great, of course, but I need to make a solid longer term purchase since trading is difficult here in South Africa. I'm thinking M4 Pro (in the Mac Mini) would be sufficient instead of waiting for the M4 Max Studio? It'll be 64GB & 2TB like my current Mac. #askatp
