Our leaders... well, as long as we are dependent on the grants from Delhi for our survival, our leaders have no option but to suck up to their leaders in Delhi.

Home Minister, GoI, announced that Manipur will come under ILP, and hence won't be affected by CAB...

Many are happy about the ILP(crap, IMHO).. their long demand, and the voices against the CAB is now divided.

Same situation in the NE overall, voices divided... as some states with ILP & 6th Schedule are not to be included in CAB(I wonder how it will be implemented though!)..

Classic Divide & Rule policy that the GoI has been following in the NE region...

As protest intensifies against the CAB in Tripura, the state government has banned the internet for 48 hours!

Over the past few years, North Eastern States, esp Manipur... has seen a lot of internet bans...

Normalcy, you see... like in Kashmir!

The current Chaiperson of Manipur State Women Commission, Dr. Meinam Binota seems to have a sexist and patriarchal mindset, and is singularly unfit to continue to hold her position as Chairperson of the MSCW.
