I live in beautiful, sunny southern California with my husband of over 16 years, and my retired guide, a yellow lab named Zappa. I am currently working on my Master's degree in special education, and I have a BA in English creative writing. I enjoy reading and writing, of course :), podcasting, mysteries of the mind and spirituality, dogs, baking whenever I feel like it, and chatting with people, having intellectual discussions and meeting old and new friends. So proud to be a part of this space

Hello #audiomo, today I am presenting to you the tale of two wind chimes recorded with #meta smart glasses. Not too bad, if you ask me! :) #audio
#audiomo day 14: I forgot to post this yesterday. This is a song I recorded for one hit wonders theme night. This is Somebody that I used to know. https://darcyandholly.com/karaoke/somebody-that-i-used-to-know.m4a
For today's #audiomo post, I explore Willesley Wood, a serene mosaic of maturing woodland, vibrant flower meadows, and tranquil wetlands. #NatureLovers #Biodiversity
today's #AudioMo is a game that I got in early 2000 called Grizzly gulch hope you enjoy it is short.
Today for #AudioMo I have a bit of satirical and comic verse from WS Gilbert. @brian_hartgen commented that he likes the language in this which is cool because so do I. I hope it gives someone a smile.
@FreakyFwoof Yeah, I don't remember the exact year he passed, but I know many people were blessed to have his presence in their lives. :)
#AudioMo 2024 day 15: A day late, but never a dollar short. To make up for it, I'm sharing a fun little number introduced many years ago to an online friend who is dearly missed. I became acquainted with Marcel Oates on Twitter, and spent hours on Facetime with him. He had a sense of humor, a gorgeous voice, and loved to talk all things audio, and of course dogs. When he shared this song with me, I about fell out my chair laughing.
I still remember the night I received a text from his sister informing me of his passing. It was actually a rainy night, and I went outside and cried along with the angels, their teardrops falling around me. He was a dear friend who I didn't know for long, but made a significant impact on my life.
One of the things I remember is his humor, and his laugh. We spent so much time coming up with funny concepts and scinarios that we wish to record if we could.
Enjoy this fun little number, and I hope you have an awesome day!
A very happy and blessed Happy Father's day to all the dads out there. Whether they, or their children, are two-legged or four-legged, fathers all around the world deserve their special day. May it be feeled with an abundance of laughter and love. :)
The new Outlook Microsoft replaced the Mail app with is a pile of shit. How do you switch between mailboxes on here? Normally with older Outlooks, you hit shift-F6 from the message list to go to the folders tree view, or you press Control-Y to also pick a folder to view. In this outlook, you can't even hit the Alt key to bring up the ribbon. You have to tab through some of the stupid ribbon settings. How in the world do you switch between inboxes on the new Outlook? Any help would be super appreciated. I've kept giving Microsoft feedback about its horrible execution of the new Outlook, but you know how they always listen to their consumers. :) Again, any help would be appreciated.
#AudioMo 2024 day 14: Join me in my room while I enjoy some me time since Hubby's left the house. I started to talk about superstition, but then I started switching topics and talked about precious gifts or inherited family objects don't last as long as we used to. It was a bit of a ramble, but books always get me thinking lots of crazy things. :) Hope you enjoy this audio, if for nothing than to hear me drop a few hangers in my closet toward the middle of the recording. :) I hope everyone is having an amazing day!
