@oceanotter I have a Flipper Zero myself, and it's so damn useful. I'm more into experimenting with NFC and RFID data, but Sub-Ghz also has a bunch of applications (that I have yet to really mess with since all my stuff apparently but understandably use rolling-codes, lol). Plus the addition of an open app store on official firmware, not to mention a number of custom firmware options that unlock everything it can do is super cool.
Not gonna lie though, the IR blaster is probably my favorite party trick/use case. Having what's basically a universal remote on steroids is cracked, and the Bad USB functionslity for running scripts is also unbelievably handy in the right use case. And given how inevitably customizable *scripting* is, that right use case quickly turns into any use case.
TL;DR, it good. Just don't pay for scalper prices and purchase right from Flipper's official site and you're golden.

@BlaiddYote I live in a place where it's fucking pitch-black after 5:30 with nary a lamp post on my normal route, and any time I put my brights on I feel like a dick.
I mainly try to do it when there's no people coming down the street, so that way I can still see what I need to down the road while also not inspiring someone to start praying on my downfall while I'm just trying to get home and cook up some nachos.

From what I saw on their Twitter timeline, Renegade had gone to a party during the convention, and when they were passed out during the party, someone had unfortunately taken advantage of them. They got police involved after that and went to the hospital to have DNA samples of the assailant taken via specialized kit.

I mean, I'm half a decade late to it, but MFF fomo had me down in the dumps all weekend and my one friend I saw to alleviate said fomo *curb-stomped* me in Mario Party, getting 4 stars in a row, so honestly I'll take whatever win I can get right now.
@Remmyzilla How'd MFF go for you? Seemed fun aside from people completely misusing Flippers to spam Bluetooth packets and what happened to Renegade, who I'm hoping is doing much better ever since.
@nimonomiyoa Last couple have days kinda sucked tbh. Kinda got MFF fomo(?) and found that that someone I used to shoot the breeze with is pretty fucked recent-content-wise
