@crocodile I've had so many people tonight complain about Mastodon to me when I invite them to our server. I had a whole post drafted about it and decided not to publish it. But man, like. These are community run, self-hosted hubs that people are working hard to make a good place to come to. It sucks not only being told people don't want to be here, but then to also have to listen to them complain about all the ways it's not Twitter. We know it's not Twitter, but we're doing our best to make it a good place regardless.
