Works for mothers, partners, siblings, coworkers, as long as your problem with them is that you’re trying to fix something about them.

Today I went to the ATM, because carrying a dumb phone made me realize how much I use Apple Pay, and I decided to cut down.

The ATM, in a branch where they got rid of the tellers I used to chat with, a branch that will also be closing down soon, gave me only $100 bills.

Shops hate $100 bills. So do I.

I mostly carry cash to give to panhandlers and buskers who don’t have Venmo, and so I would rather have ones.

A bank employee had to get up from his desk to show me how to redeposit the $100 bills, and withdraw the same amount in $20 bills instead.

At least I got a nice chat with a human being out of it. And a bunch of twenties. 1/2

I have already called and emailed my Senators about this provision in the budget bill, last week, and I would urge you to do the same.
