Had an amazing session with @HairyHypnotist. I knew his voice and his approach to hypnosis from his podcast appearances, so I was comfortable with him right away. Our preliminary phone call was very easy and I was excited that the things I wanted to explore were well within his wheelhouse. Couldn’t wait to begin!

The induction was swift and effective, being as at ease with him as I was. His guidance was gentle but sure, and the sensations came flowing easily. Can’t wait to go deeper!

Like, that's what happened here. Ideally, triggerphrase would still have open registrations - I think there's a real benefit to removing even the small barrier to entry of having to explain yourself when joining an instance - but when the spam waves started happening, I put it on manual approval, because I cannot guarantee quick response times 24/7, and that benefit isn't worth my instance being abused to make everyone's experience of the fediverse worse

Subspace and trance are basically two different doors leading to the exact same room: Hypofrontality (crashing the executive function). Subspace shuts down your critical thinking using neurochemicals and power exchange. In hypnosis, it shuts down to allow for more intense focus.
