@faho how are you sending a message to the leader of that clusterfuck by maintaining a dormant account? Isn't it a better message to send to delete it so user numbers go down?
Maybe it differs for people with a high profile but for Joe Public why would we not delete ours?
@coffeecupguy my God, yes. There is a journo I massively respect but while she does the auto post of her Twitter feed, I won't follow her on here. Sucks because they'll complain they get no engagement here... but their auto reposting is why they're not getting any engagement.
Or even just link to the original article and not the Twitter post linking to the original article.
My biggest problem with Mastodon is... everyone sharing links to shit on Twitter.
If you're here you must understand the importance of not giving that platform and it's owner ANY clicks. Take a fkn screen shot if you need to share something... or even better, close your Twitter account and let's get on with building Mastodon.
