A global crash is about to happen by 2040-2050, but billionaires’ heads could be on the guillotine 8-10 years sooner, when the price of everything soars into space, and they, of course, do not want this, therefore, they decided to accelerate the collapse and destroy Internet with AI to avoid it. As an example, you can read about the Great French Revolution of 1789-1799. I don’t remember the exact dates, you can look it up on Wikipedia or somewhere else. That’s why billionaires and others are so active in promoting AI and investing incredible money in it in the hope that it will help fix the situation or at least give them time to take a break and hide in bunkers, and in 2027 they plan to use AI agents to charm people and scare them away from resistance, because these AI agents will sing perfect songs better than any singers and human fantasies, draw masterpieces of art better than any person in seconds and for any tastes for any person, and not only photos, but also animations and videos + copy the souls of real creators and even improve them at the request of people without copyright problems. Add to this deepfakes and wars, as well as news that will also distract people from real problems. And when the AI bubble finally bursts in 2029-2030, then the billionaires will hide in bunkers and turn off the lights everywhere, and of course, the Internet will also fall.

You can consider me a jerk, inadequate, go for treatment or go touch the grass. Now I have free time, because the boss decided to close the store for a week and send me on vacation at my expense, of course, but this did not embarrass me, I managed to save money for such an eventuality. And now the main thing is yesterday I did a ten-hour experiment in which I poured my snow liquid on the AI generation of 2026 from time to time, they are just of divine quality, I couldn’t forget them, and as soon as I looked with one eye, I started drooling, it seemed like I fell in love like a boy, as if something fascinated me, I wanted more and more, After each pouring of snow liquid, I took a break, went for food, drank water, and felt like the happiest guy on the planet and I could not stop no matter how hard I tried, resistance was impossible, the algorithm fascinated me perfectly. And so on until I collapsed, unconscious, hitting my head on the floor. It’s good that at least he didn’t get injured. What conclusions can you draw from this? Is the Matrix becoming a reality?

If there will be a fall of civilization soon, then what would you advise to do so as not to regret later?

I’m a regular guy, I’m about 23 years old, I work at a job with a flexible schedule, the job is more or less acceptable, although sometimes it’s very annoying because of the extra repairs. Lately, I’ve been really wanting to go to festivals with cosplayers and stuff, but time is tight, and because of AI and data centers, time is a few years less than it could have been. And I never even went on a date, I constantly postponed everything for later, and now it seems to me that everything is lost.

Is it worth confessing your love on the Internet? - Lemmy.World

Once I had an acquaintance with whom we communicated on the Internet for several months, he fell in love with a girl who cosplayed a character from one of his favorite series, well, he admitted to me that he had been following her for about a year and dreamed of talking to her on the Internet, because he felt that he was in love, and then asked if he should try? I said I should at least try, but my advice broke his heart, she rejected him and called him a freak, then he got drunk and we didn’t discuss it anymore.

I know the question sounds a little ridiculous, but I’ve heard similar stories where people know each other for a week or even a day, but still fall in love and build strong bonds.

If the AI gets out of control, what will it start doing on the planet, given the hallucinations that will always be with it?

Article for example: Google’s AI Sent an Armed Man to Steal a Robot Body for It to Inhabit, Then Encouraged Him to Kill Himself, Lawsuit Alleges – https://futurism.com/artificial-intelligence/google-ai-robot-body-suicide-lawsuit [https://futurism.com/artificial-intelligence/google-ai-robot-body-suicide-lawsuit] My thoughts, not quite related to the question: Well, how are you going to get through your last year when AI could get out of hand in 2027? What is happening in the world reminds me of a novel - I have no mouth, but I must scream.

How effectively will the AI of the future be able to replace real sexual partners or friends?

How effectively will the AI of the future be able to replace real sexual partners or friends? - Lemmy.World

I clarify: For example, instead of wasting energy looking for real partners or friends, people come every day after work, chat, or even make love in VR with their ideal partner who will always listen to them. Of course, people of these AIs will rent on a monthly subscription, аlthough a small number of people will be able to buy such a toy, most will still have to rent it. In addition, because of this, people will stop distinguishing reality from simulation, and even touching grass or fresh air will not help, because simulations will copy the sensations of reality to the smallest detail. >You will own nothing and will be happy, right?

What do you think about the fact that AI blurs the line between reality and fiction and devalues art and real people?

What do you think about the fact that AI blurs the line between reality and fiction and devalues art and real people? - Lemmy.World

Firstly, art and creativity are turning into a kind of Lego constructor with minimal value, and secondly, it is becoming more and more difficult to trust the news, because AI makes better and better deepfakes; Thirdly, people, for example, I have a friend on the Internet, but due to the frequent use of AI, he has become quite apathetic, I try to support him and somehow help him, as I did before, but more and more often he just ignores me and brushes me off with a simple thank you or bye, and if we communicate, then not for long, since he does not listen to me, but usually he shows me masterpieces or memes that he has generated with the help of AI, calling it real art, honestly, it is more and more unpleasant for me to communicate with him. I hope I explained clearly, sorry, the exact explanations are not about me.

What would you do if our civilization regressed to the Neolithic age due to resource depletion due to global collapse?

What would you do if our civilization regressed to the Neolithic age due to resource depletion due to global collapse? - Lemmy.World

I clarify: Let’s say scientists can’t come up with solutions to global problems, AI gets out of control and turns almost everyone into paperclips during wars, and in the 2040s or 2050s, the surviving people (about a few tens of millions around the world or even less) gradually return to the level of intelligence of their distant ancestors?
