I love my best friend. He's the kind of person where, regardless of the amount of time since our last call, we still pick up and chat for two hours like it's nothing.
We can talk about anything, show any emotion, laugh about the craziest subjects, and I come away from those things with a full heart.

Sitting patiently like a good little boy in my wife's ship in the hangar, because her Star Citizen client crashed, whereas my dubious Linux install is still going strong.
Every time I come back to #Starfield after playing other games, I'm kind of reminded as to how janky and limited it really is.
Make no mistake, I played 200+ hours and absolutely loved it. But, characters in Cyberpunk at least move around and make gestures when they talk. No Man's Sky really nailed interstellar travel, resource gathering, and base building. And Star Citizen's tech demos suggest that they're basically making an immersive sim on steroids.
Coming back after all that makes me feel like I'm playing with a Fischer Price toy.

Slowly installing Star Citizen on Linux in what can only be described as the jankiest process of all time. Will it work? Will something break? You just never know.
New achievement for 30-somethings unlocked: coming home, seeing some jerk took the assigned spot that you pay money for, calling a tow truck to drag that jerk's car away.
Out of the Emergency Room, turns out I have a mild case of pneumonia. Taking a few days off and resting.
