@MarvinTheMartian I purchased a 15" model. It's a solid machine and will likely be my daily driver soon. Their right to repair commitment sold me. First thing I did was add a second SSD. Way simpler to do this than on my Acer where the parts were so buried, I had to almost completely disassemble it just to get at the slot.

@qsteenhuis Assuming you're at a uni with resources, perhaps baking into their student activity fee?
If not, course materials are already so expensive, may as well just require they obtain access and perhaps suggest other acceptable alternatives that may be lower cost.
