
[Pitch] Stat types for Swift System
Hi all! We'd love feedback on this pitch to introduce a Stat type to the System library. This includes Swift-native APIs for the stat(), lstat(), fstat(), and fstatat() system calls, as well as supporting types for C stat properties and flags. In keeping with the System philosophy, these types would only be available on Unix-like platforms, but future directions could include Windows-specific file metadata APIs.
