Computer Science student, fan of tinkering with random stuff

After an hour of trying to figure out why I don't get anything useful from processing the signal, I looked at the first line again:

f = open("noise-<params>.dat")

The output gets quite a bit saner once there is actually something to see in the input.

"[...] signals radiated by an antenna result from the distribution of
the exciting currents on the antenna"

Not to be confused with boring currents, which don't produce a signal?

I hope you like my #36c3 design! Create your own visuals here:

Best student answer to "Implement the <whatever> algorithm ...":

"I implemented it -- go me!"

😀

turns out pub quizzes are much harder if you didn't grow up in the country the quiz is in (or at least lived there for a long time)

still fun though

Can't make it for #WeAreNameless today, but Rocky Horror Picture Show is on in a local cinema next week, so that should be fun.

Enjoy the film everybody!

@[email protected] There's /.well-known/<whatever>, but from a quick look at the list of standardised files (https://www.iana.org/assignments/well-known-uris/well-known-uris.xhtml) "resources" doesn't seem to be defined.

It could still be what you're looking for if the standard is still being drafted, similar to https://securitytxt.org/ (defining /.well-known/security.txt with data like a security contact e-mail)

Well-Known URIs

@ajroach42 Full circle spanning over half of the (personal) computing era 😮

Minor technical note: the images don't display in the Mastodon web UI (at least for me on Firefox) -- looks like the problem is the extension (.jpe instead of .jpg or .jpeg), after downloading and renaming they work OK.
