@amydiehl In one of Jared Diamond's books he proposed that menopause gave humans a competitive advantage over other primates. Menopause allows women to become grandmothers. Grandmothers have an essential role in transmitting knowledge. Species that don't have menopause continue having babies until they die. The book is about genetics, and deserved a better title than "Why is Sex Fun: the Evolution of Human Sexuality."

I thought Ukraine already proved that tanks are archaic, since Russia's tanks were no match for Ukrainian shoulder-fired anti-tank missiles.

@maxboot This contradicts recent reports that Russia's economy and military will take many years to recover from the Ukraine fiasco. It's estimated that Russia has lost twice as many soldiers in the last 10 months as USA lost in 14 years in Vietnam.
