I've never liked the term "tech debt" as it implies that the problem can be solved with just five easy payments.
"tech rot", "tech refurbishment" and in some cases "tech archaeology" are more accurate terms in my opinion.
I mean this in a caring way but I am not a fan of any lint syntax obsessiveness 🙄
