I just found a pretty cool looking moth on the veranda.
While at a lunch meeting outside, we were visited by a curious Buff-banded Rail.
New day, new frog photo.
Found more Eastern Dwarf Tree Frogs this morning. This one though, had found itself a little leaf nest to sit in while warming in the morning sun.

New bird on the lake at work this morning (new to the lake, not to me).
A Comb-crested Jacana, walking on the water lilies.
This Lewin's Honeyeater is undecided on which is its best side.
On my walk this morning I heard quite a few birds, but saw few. However, while in the park down the road, I a tiny Peaceful Dove stopped by, and a pair of Magpie-Larks (aka Peewees).
Also, daytime moon.

I went back this afternoon via the spot the tiny frogs were this morning and there were two out in the open.

(ok I made that up, but it is Thursday and I did find a tiny frog).
Another (maybe the same one) Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog. Spotted this morning sunning itself on a broad blade of grass.
The third photo is an iPhone shot, and includes a tiny grasshopper for scale.
