@mikebroberts I've witnessed email-based communities move over to Slack/Discord because they didn't have the competence to set up DKIM/SPF properly and they got fed up with all of their mail going to spam folders.
(To be clear, the solution here is to figure out DKIM/SPF, which is not *that* difficult)
@marcoarment It feels like there should be a consortium of companies that make podcast clients. Getting that together might be a clusterf, but it would be a chance for you to set it up so the huge platforms have a minority say.

@sebbo @daringfireball At this point, it's a moral imperative for them to support in the OS OpenVPN and Wireguard. Like I think like-minded nerds need to ring the alarm and turn up the heat on Apple to have support baked into the OS, given increasing app store removals.
Most VPN providers do not support L2TP/IPSec any more anyway.

@_Davidsmith It's a shame that the titanium ones weigh more than the aluminum ones. I thought the point of using titanium was taking advantage of it's strengh-to-weight ratio, by setting a target design strength and then using less metal to achieve it.
@marcoarment I’ve gotten 11 spam calls in 3 hours this morning. These have all rung my phone despite “potential spam” being detected and “silence junk callers” being turned on. I need to leave off “silence unknown callers” because I have a kid in daycare.
