“Civil War” left me rattled for days.

There’s a lot that Alex Garland leaves out of the film. And I think that’s ultimately what made it so effective.

Something I just learned: substack doesn’t know how to interpret mastodon links in its analytics dashboard.

Just looked at the data on yesterday’s post: 79% “direct,” 12% email, 5% Twitter.

Almost all of that “direct” traffic is mastodon.
