The NTP servers at the National Physical Laboratory appear to be down. I am connected to the pool-address for the UK, which rules out shenanigans affecting NTP packets generally.

What may be an important point is that the IP they bought is from the Terry Nation Estate. It's not like an adaption of a book or a stage play, but most of what we saw isn't part of the deal. There is a bit more to the IP than you would expect from the idea of a WW2 movie, but I find myself thinking of a play about Shakespeare rather than a play by Shakespeare.

I expect some blathering about what the Democratic Party should do. Voters, real people rather than Pundits, will need to organise.. The election takes place next year. There are the Primaries. I have been puzzling over the way vehicles use road space, and how it relates to speed.
It turns out that doubling the speed needs four times the distance to stop. So two times the number of vehicles can go past a marker, but it needs four times the space to be safe. So the road uses twice as much ground per vehicle.
