I have been puzzling over the way vehicles use road space, and how it relates to speed.
It turns out that doubling the speed needs four times the distance to stop. So two times the number of vehicles can go past a marker, but it needs four times the space to be safe. So the road uses twice as much ground per vehicle.
Yes, I didn't include the thinking distance in that.
I can assure youthis is not Rocket Science. I used to play Kerbal Space Program.
I suppose "Bill Bailey" is not so unusual a name, but Google will link you to hundreds of videos showing a porn star of that name.
And then they will sell your name to porn producers who want customers.
My usual account will be affected by the particular server undergoing major maintenance.
The Fediverse has been my most reliable contact point for gossip about the British Eastercon, which is being held in Belfast. Some stories do get onto Bluesky, which is better than most US-based Social Media, but connections that cross the USA-border have become unreliable during Friday.
I have seen Bad People in Fandom, some more obvious than others. My parents taught me about Fascists.
