Great post from Zalando and a reminder that users of your software only update in case of features or bug fixes affecting them. One of the reasons why pushing out features is so important. Otherwise you will be supporting certain versions for eternity - I mean you will anyway.
I like the Testcontainers strategy to ensure existing applications work with the old and new Elasticsearch versions.
