@litazia I've gone back occasionally, typically when I'm looking for breaking news of something very recent. But I find the search often brings up 💩 now.
And I have to be careful if I click on a news tweet because so many of the responses are often bad to horrible.
@litazia mostly I'm just trying to avoid talking about the other site and its owner and the rise of hate speech there. But that still weighs heavily on me.😔

Though the ChatGPT and energy from fusion stories are pretty interesting to me. I haven't been able to look into either in great detail yet but I feel both are going to be major societal shifts at some point. And with the ChatGPT, even if it's not by itself as big a scientific leap as fusion, we may not understand what those impacts will be yet.
Finally started Arcane, after so many people telling me I should, and it is quite good. I'm not as blown away as my friends seem to be but enjoying it.

Very disappointed in the school trustee for my area. The sad thing is that they're still better than the alternative we had for the election. I only wish the third candidate had bothered to show up and do something during the election, they may have been better. #schooltrustee #ottawa ☹️
