Can't sleep because of my anxiety so I've been applying for jobs. Didn't think my time at my current place that I've been working at for the past 12 years would end like this but here we are 😞

Work has got me completely backed into a corner. I'm being forced to sign new contracted hours that I simply cannot do. I worked nights, then moved onto days after having a baby to make everyone's lives easier. Now these hours will make everything harder. If I don't sign before a deadline that I've not been given, they'll terminate my contract leaving me unemployed. This sucks so bad but another reminder that I'm just a number.

Thinking about it I really appreciated the colleagues who asked me if I was ok at work today after over hearing a conversation with myself and a colleague. People I've never spoken to before. I saw genuine care not just being nosey and a couple shared their own stories. Feeling #grateful for those 👍

Always nice to know there's an actual thing about how I currently feel.
