@tsrono They want those drones to be long and meandering, damn the quality. The only thing that'll right that ship is a noise-table.

@tsrono Absolutely. One common thread in Autechre's music is the influence of hiphop. So many tracks have this "bounce" that may not be so obvious, but it's there. Like "Calbruc" (Chiastic Slide)--that's a hiphop track--just filtered through their experience.

@tsrono Yeah, WATMM or Xltronic.
I'm sure you know of their 6-hour (?) mixes from around 2006? Mainly acid/house/electro stuff, if I recall. A crazy amount of music.

@tsrono Yeah, an ancient 650mb mp3 burned to a CDr. Quality is crap, but still kinda the best thing ever. I got so many great music recommendations from their mixes.
