Apple Books is an absolute piece of shit when it comes to working with pdfs, annotations. Since 26 it just closes my off at randomly, and it disappears from my library
Next up — an all-new Slack integration. If you’ve ever shared a link to a document in your Workspace in Slack, you’ll know that… not much happens. Not anymore! Now you can connect your Workspace to Slack and get a nice preview. 🧵↓
Finally, we now support drag-and-drop organization for folders, documents (and even selections that contain both!) in the web app. Combine this with folders you can nest as many levels deep as you need, and you’ve got a lot of flexibility for organizing your work. 🧵↓
We’ve also added a full layer list for inspecting designs in the web app — making it easier to find layers, jump to them, copy links, grab CSS, or export your selection. There’s a handy new contextual menu, too. Also, you can invite the devs in your team to use this for free! 🧵↓

We’re kicking off the year with four new features — starting with previews!

With previews, you can choose the pages and prototypes you want to share with clients, while keeping the rest of your document private. 🧵↓

What’s happening in the US scares the shit out of me. How ICE thugs roam the streets killing innocent people. How fast a democracy tumbles, how quick fascists take over. How quick industrialists bend to the will of the despot, how republicans quietly acquiesce, how democrats are unable to raise a united voice and resistance.

A republic, “if you can keep it” as Franklin said 250 years ago.

I’ve read “the world of yesterday” by Stefan Zweig, his masterful biography about him growing in the Austro-Hungarian empire before WW1, and then a fragile peace before being slowly dismantled by thugs before WW2 broke and and destroyed his world a second time.

About how law and order slowly gives way to gangs controlling the streets, state-sanctioned violence to the innocent and helpless. The parallels with the world of today were scary, disturbing. A recommended read.

British Writer Pens The Best Description Of Trump I’ve Read - London Daily

“Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England wrote the following response:

@caseyliss friends of mine have started a small car company (https://www.caricecars.com) and have been given the chance to attend CES with it this year. I know you’re a bit of a car aficionado and was wondering if you could recommend some people they should reach out to for press that are most likely to appreciate the concept they’re going with. Or if you’re looking to restart your own channel with a truly unique model then here’s a suggestion 😆)
