I can't be the only one that is starting to feel like the safety profiles thing is becoming something that is just the traditional opener to a c++ standards revision?
Anyway, Bjarne did write a neat executive summary:
• Profiles are essential for the future of C++
• Profiles will not break your existing code
• Profiles will not prevent your favorite new feature
• Profiles are part of a long tradition of C++ evolution
• The alternative is incompatible, ad hoc restrictions
