I Insisted that the action items they're writing on the list and assigning to people actually have VERBS in them and are objectively either done or not done.
One was literally "action item for baseline survey". Does that mean the assigned action is to create a new action item? To write the survey? To CONDUCT the survey? To evaluate the results?
This is why they pay me the big bucks, because I can identify whether a sentence has a verb or not.
