@TeegeackAVClubSecretary It's about when I decided I was never going to get that college degree. And that it was *OK* not to. It wasn't going to hurt me (any more than it already had, and I'm doing fine). It's an arbitrary round number, but also a good time to just let some stuff go, mentally.

Last week I got a side assignment to do a small-sample audit and evaluation of how well our SUBSAFE program is doing.
I noticed now in all the engineers' offices and cubicles, beside all the motivational pictures of Thresher, they all have pictures of Titan.
Works just fine stand-alone without the wifi or mobile app feature. I haven't even tried them, so I don't know if they're good or bad, just... I can't think of why I would need or want that for a cat box.
I was skeptical about the automatic cat box machine, but it's already as essential as the dishwasher.

Controversial opinion: when the restaurant lists its closing time, that doesn't mean you can walk in five minutes before that. That means you should be OUT by then.

I Insisted that the action items they're writing on the list and assigning to people actually have VERBS in them and are objectively either done or not done.
One was literally "action item for baseline survey". Does that mean the assigned action is to create a new action item? To write the survey? To CONDUCT the survey? To evaluate the results?
This is why they pay me the big bucks, because I can identify whether a sentence has a verb or not.
