It's the end of an era. I knew it was coming so I'm not sad at the news but it still feels like something is being lost. Nobuo Uematsu was the composer most responsible for making me a musician and my biggest single musical influence. He will still be doing self-directed projects so it's not the last time we hear a new song by him but gone are the days where we'll be transported to another world.
