Can you #help me?
I feel like I've seen a post a few times #OnHere that's a link to a blogpost or site that's a manifesto on why you should have a personal site/blog outside of social media.
But I can't remember what it was called or the URL!!

UPDATE: incredibly, @stefan identified the one I was thinking of, almost immediately! https://nora.zone/manifesto.html
Thank you thank you (and thanks @nora for writing it)

The Website Manifesto

@adamghill You like this better than your django-unicorn?
@lawik Also an Alfred fan hete
@danielfeldroy I found it effective and think it was worth the money. But I also like games!
A Rescued Cat With Amputated Front Legs Waddles Around the House Like a Furry T-Rex

A little tabby named Duck, who had both front legs amputated when she was a kitten, looks like a tiny furry T-Rex waddling around the house.

@austinkocher My wife says I have too many coffee makers. Most have been mentioned here already, except the Hario Woodneck Drip Pot. It uses a cloth reusable filter and makes astonishingly good coffee. It's especially effective at extracting good flavor even out of beans that might be a little too old. https://www.amazon.com/Hario-Woodneck-Drip-480ml-Dark/dp/B0006HINCO/

@adamghill I am super late to the party but just discovered django-unicorn. This is amazing! I was waffling between htmx, unpoly, or something else for my latest project. This hits the sweet spot!
@nedbat @hugovk @marcgibbons @pauleveritt @MissSteno
I was in that session, and had a view of both the stenographer and the speakers. Might be the funniest thing that I ever experienced in a conference.
I just love how we've now spent far more computational resources on generating funny pictures and spitting out flawed code than was ever spent on running formal verfication and exhaustive testing on important software because it was thought to be "too expensive".
@pythonbytes Just listened to your latest episode #369 where you talked about adding custom search engines to your browser. Have you looked at SearXNG? https://docs.searxng.org/ Private self-hosted search engine proxy written in Python!
