I just love how we've now spent far more computational resources on generating funny pictures and spitting out flawed code than was ever spent on running formal verfication and exhaustive testing on important software because it was thought to be "too expensive".

I found the whole thing grossly disrespectful, but I do slightly appreciate the meta-joke here that the AI generated text is fake and was actually written by humans

Ah! For anyone who cares, I figured this out. The external, non-Gmail Google Account has to have at least one Chat Space invitation or else going to https://chat.google.com will throw a 502.

Hey hivemind! Can you use Google Chat with a non-gmail Google account? This support link says it's possible: https://knowledge.workspace.google.com/kb/chatting-with-external-users-000006707 But when I go to https://chat.google.com when signed into one of my non-Gmail Google accounts I get a 502 error. #google #gsuite
