I read sometimes
@joho but isn't age verification done for keeping kids away from the harmful stuff? Although I'm not sure about how effective it really is. I think they do it avoid responsibility when kids access those sites.
@joho It does make sense for the first two tho. Or am I wrong?

@BrunoMcGee That goes to my TBR.

rn, I feel like I could read any book of any size.

Have you read 11/22/63 btw? That one's my favorite.

@Katylou They feel so real. They have flaws I've noticed in real people around me.

This May, I convinced myself to read longer books. I picked Lonesome Dove. It's a Wild West novel about these cowboys that drive cattle from Texas to Montana. It's not action heavy, it's sentimental and has incredible character writing.

It's not really underrated, but I've seen cringy YA books with 1-D characters have more reviews than this one.
That is surprising. Because it is a masterpiece in every sense. One of the best books I've ever read. Loved it!!

@jasonrush I was also fairly too young when I first read Pet Semetary. I didn't think it was scary at all. Now that I remember it, how is a man digging his dead baby out of it's grave not disturbing?!

Just reread Pet Sematary for the first time since I was, like, 13. It's funny how things stick with you long after you remember what it's from. Whenever I'm digging a hole for gardening or whatever, I always think about how there won't be enough dirt to fill it back in, and I had totally forgotten that was about grave dirt.
