We ask what happened to microtargeting in digital advertisments. https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/14614448221146174 w/ @KevKerkev @jsbtweet and Thomas Beauvisage. Traditional media advertising is based on probabilistic demographic targeting: we know people from such gender, age group, SES, tend to consume distinct media, so advertisers buy space in the media there target population consumes.
