@reconbot @requiem so true! I feel there is still this gap in the market and often wish the startup had survived.

Lately I've been using headless chrome boxes running Linux with little vibe coded apps for things like recording midi events on the family piano or playing announcements at scheduled times.

@reconbot @indutny I've got a variant of nibs that is an append-only store so that it's mutable like a database

Would anyone be interested in subscribing to a content feed where I post interesting experiments about computer science, robotics, and off-grid farming?

I'm trying to gauge interest.

@mekkaokereke and to think I almost recommended them to some friends because of the good marketing.
@david great idea, the deadbeef PRNG is perfect for this book

Would anyone be interested in a book that teaches computer science aimed at grade-school kids but bring them up enough to understand binary serialization from ones and zeroes and various data structures and how/why they work?

This will be illustration heavy and teach fundamentals.

I'm heading to SFO to work with my colleagues in person for the first time in years. This is going to be a blast! ✈️ 🔼
@alexis Encantis is plenty low level. It's basically web assembly with types. I don't need an option harder than that.
Should I try #adventofcode this year? What language should I use? I'm leaning towards Encantis.

@requiem @reconbot @b0rk that said, I'm all for people having fun. I wish I had time to work on stuff like this still.
