It’s official!! The City of Victoria has passed the Missing Middle Housing Initiative. This change allows 6-units on every single-family lot in the city, and up to 12 on corner (double) lots. The policy has excellent provisions to protect green space (45% site coverage), requires two 3-bed units, requires accessible units and at least one suite in condo buildings. This innovative policy will be studied worldwide and will result in climate-smart housing and vibrant neighborhoods. #yyj #yyjpoli
