Jarrett HolstDefinitely a loss for the community & the local media scene. I liked the newsletter approach & I felt they provided more depth in regional reporting.
Combined with what's happening with the Georgia Straight in Vancouver, a lot of the remaining alternatives to Black Press, Postmedia & Bell Media look to be either on their way out or on their way to corporate pacification.
