Christmas tree is up and almost done!
We moved from another city this past summer, so had to start from scratch with our decorations. I really am loving this tree so far, the blue and silver is so calming.

Exciting news, everyone: for the first time in years it appears there’s a man in my bed! 😜

Power outage has now been going on for 2.5 hours. Last time I checked, a crew hadn’t been assigned to fix it yet. Our fridge, stove and furnace are all electric. Currently huddled under blankets staying warm. Thankfully the temp is hovering around 0°C and is not super cold. We have tons of snow, though. Our landlords, who own a restaurant, are bringing food for us in an hour and a bit. We have lots of snacks here, though. #VancouverIsland
