They have been awarded the 2026 #HelmholtzPrize for the development of #FemtosecondFieldoscopy, a new technique for the high-precision analysis of optical electric fields under ambient conditions.
This method opens the door to studying light–matter interactions in liquids and biological samples, thus enabling super-resolution imaging without dyes or markers.
