Shelburne, with its population is just short of 8,000, lies about 7 miles south of Burlington. Its major attractions are the fantastic Shelburne Museum, the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory and the Oakledge Park from which you can see the 3rd (!) of July Fireworks in Burlington, VT without all the crowds in downtown Burlington.
Internet and laptop now running off my solar shed! (actually... 3 laptops, Wi-Fi router, and FIOS router... probably could drop one laptop for better efficiency, but it's running the pihole and rather not drop the shields LOL. And the FIOS router's Wi-Fi is terrible... so the high power router remains...)
Why do I need Internet? Cell phone data is oversubscribed here as the whole neighborhood is without power -- so you can't load any amount of data.
Backup to the FIOS would be a satellite service, but I'm not giving any money to mister-you-know-salutes-what #DisasterPreparedness
