It's kinda wild that the causal chain to where AI is today was *already* strongly dependent on John Carmack, 3 decades before he started intentionally working on AI.
If the humans in Terminator wanted to go back in time to prevent skynet, they'd try to make Quake a commercial failure.

An actual instance of voter fraud! It shows how dumb voter fraud is as a crime too. Even 23 votes, which is pretty prolific for this type of crime, is very rarely going to make a difference, especially in right-wing Woodbury county.
It's hard to make enough fraudulent votes to matter in an election. Systematic disenfranchisement though...
